Getting started
Choose a companion or create a fictional adult character. Start a conversation, review memory suggestions, or open Stories and choose a setting. Each story has three chapters; your choices move it forward.
Apple sign-in and restoring data
You can explore and create a fictional companion as a guest. Before your first chat message, Himira offers optional Apple sign-in to sync across devices. You can continue as a guest or sign in later from My Soul. Characters, pictures, conversations, stories and memories from this device are added to your Apple account, including an existing account, while its saved content remains. If a transfer fails, the guest data stays on this device so you can retry. Use the same Apple account when returning.
Pictures, waiting and retrying
Generate a character portrait, then illustrate a story chapter. Pictures can take longer than replies. Keep a stable connection and use Retry after a failure. The free plan allows 30 chat/story generations and 5 pictures per user each day, with shared service limits. Availability can vary.
Memory and deletion
Only approved memory suggestions become persistent notes. Edit or clear notes in the companion’s memory screen. Clearing notes does not remove the original chat; clear the conversation too if needed. My Soul → Delete account/data removes your server account and revokes its Apple sign-in connection. Signing out alone does not delete it. Free-account content is also removed after 30 days of inactivity; see the Plus retention details below.
Report an AI response
Tap Report below an AI chat response and select a reason. The selected response, preceding prompt and reason are sent privately for manual review. For a story or image concern, email support with the steps to find it; do not send private content unless necessary. This is not an emergency service.
Language and content
The app follows your device’s preferred supported language: English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese or Traditional Chinese. English is the fallback. Existing stories and messages keep the language in which they were generated. Characters are fictional AI adults. Himira is for people aged 18 or older and does not provide professional care.
Himira Plus
200 chat or story generations per day 10 images per day Up to 20 companions, 200 images and 100 stories Daily allowances reset at 00:00 UTC. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Your subscription renews automatically unless canceled in Apple subscription settings. Weekly and yearly plans include the same benefits. Unused daily allowances do not roll over. Apple sign-in is optional. It syncs your characters and conversations; purchases can be restored without signing in. Deleting your Himira account does not cancel your Apple subscription. You can manage or cancel it in Apple subscription settings. With Plus, your content is kept while your subscription is active. After it ends, content expires 30 days after your last activity or paid access ends, whichever is later. Minimal subscription records are kept separately for up to one year after access ends for restoration and billing support. You can still delete your content or account anytime.
